Today we’d like to share three ideas that you can put into action immediately. Pick a genre for your topic and then think of 1 problem within that genre.
WordPress Theme Customization Problem: [Pick one]
Getting More Comments on Your Website and Writing Better Comments
Smartphone Etiquette: Learning Manners After Cellphones
How did I come up with these? It was very easy; I was faced with a thought or problem at some point that involved WordPress, comments and cellphones. Now you may have your own set of Google searches that ended up being fruitless, or led to a very short and unsatisfactory reply, perhaps, in a fairly derelict forum :”You’re posting in the wrong thread, man”. Etc.
This is a ‘common rare problem’: It is a common thing that we have a “rare” question or problem that no one on the web has effectively answered. That gap leads to millions upon millions of people scouring Google search results for hours without a satisfactory solution or a step-by-step walkthrough.
Consider How to Help Others
Take time to consider problems that you would enjoy fixing, by writing about them and looking up some resources for others.
There was car problems I was having recently.
33 Valuable Lessons for Affiliate Marketers:
I looked it up online and found very few people had commented on the exact problem, although it was common for my car. However, after some searching, one person had left a comment– get this, on his own thread to which no one else had commented upon. He said ‘I decided to post my progress on my car anyway,’ and after that he listed which parts he bought, how he fixed it and that it was easy to do. He didn’t get compensated for his comment, but it saved me a lot of hours of fruitless Google searches, or other fruitless searches through a dusty car manual.
Here you have an opportunity to find out how you are of great help, even when you offer the simplest answers to the simplest problems. Perhaps you have faced this problem so many times you hardly think of it as a problem.
What are you great at fixing? It doesn’t have to be skills or education that makes you qualified, just something you happened to learn to do or you just happened to know how to fix.
