Many people don’t realize the importance of using their primary keyword phrase in the title tag properly. Perhaps they fill out their title like so:
For the keyword phrase “Train Track Toys”:
As you can see in the example above, Train Toy Trains is only a partial match – so it is not as relevant and will not rank highest in a Google Search result. We want to include “Train Track Toys” exactly, without any other words separating Train, and Track, and Toys.
The same rule applies to the Headers in your pages.
Always include the exact keyword phrase, without separating the exact phrase — otherwise you may not be considered as relevant.
The body text must also include the keyword phrase a few times… it must be around a keyword density of 8%. You can use the Keyword Density tool here to learn how often you use your keywords in your pages, and whether you need to back off using it in your articles.
