From surveys to work at home call center jobs, there are a variety of ways to make money online. One of the programs we’ve recently taken a look at is called Qmee.
It’s an extension for Chrome that tracks what you shop for online and shares that information with their advertisers. Advertisers are able to show a simple ad next to Google searches right within your browsing experience.
- Qmee shows you how much you’ll get paid for a click on an ad.
- Payout is fast and with a very low payout threshold via Paypal.
- Easy to use and pretty fun!
33 Valuable Lessons for Affiliate Marketers:
Why are the advantages of the Qmee program?
The Qmee extension is a gentle green color Q next to the URL field in your Chrome browser. While most of your Google searches will be uninterrupted, whenever you put in a term that includes shopping items like shoes, dressers, glasses, and so on – Qmee will activate and a vertical bar of ads will appear to the left of your Google search. Next to the ad links you’ll see a payout amount – ranging from $.02 cents to as high as $.12 cents. We’re not sure that there’s any limit, as advertisers probably bid on the highest spot (much like Google Adwords program for advertisers).
What are the downsides to the Qmee program?
The biggest problem we see with Qmee is that advertisers may not get their money’s worth as people using it are probably just trying to make money – not spend more of it! However, we could be proven wrong as Qmee may become quite a popular service.
Another disadvantage may be the click pay out. Some may argue their clicks are worth more than a few cents. But over the course of a week, clicking a few of these ads will probably generate most of our readers over a $0.25 in residual income. Tap it out at $1 or $5 at the end of the month and you’ve got some coffee money!
